Today we’re showcasing paranormal and contemporary romance author C.D. Gorri!
Why did you start writing?
I became an author because I’ve always loved books—they’ve been my escape, my inspiration, and my favorite way to explore the world. Add in an overactive imagination, a soft spot for love stories, and a deep appreciation for a well-timed joke, and writing became the natural next step. I love creating characters who make me laugh, swoon, and sometimes cry, and getting to share those stories with readers is the best part of all.
❓What are your favorite things outside of writing?
I’m not sure if it counts as a hobby, but I love to cook. There’s something magical about the textures, colors, and flavors coming together—it feels like another form of creative expression for me. When I’m not experimenting in the kitchen, you’ll usually find me with my nose in a book, enjoying a beach getaway, or spending time with my family. Oh, and it’s officially my personal mission to visit every zoo I come across—no matter where I am, if there’s a zoo, I’m going!
❓Which book in your catalog should people start with?
This is a tough one because it really depends on your preference. I have a clean Urban fantasy serious, a ton of steamy PNR, and a couple of spicy darkish contemporaries. Something for everyone!
